Work under this Contract consists of roadway improvements along Benning Road between 34th St NE and the Minnesota Ave NE focusing on the interchange between Anacostia Freeway (DC-295) and Benning Road, and other work as shown on the Contract Drawings and described in these Special Provisions. The work includes the replacement of Willie J Hardy Memorial Bridge (Bridge 503) and the construction of new ramps to add three new movements to the interchange.
