The project consists of demolition of the existing sixteen trailers, and building a new modular building to house approx. 270 staff members. The new office building amenities include conference rooms, lockers, and showers.

The design and construction upgrade of the Marion S. Barry Building's support systems to enhance the HVAC, electrical, fire suppression, fire protection, life safety, water distribution valves, and plumbing systems that service the building's 13 floors and 650,000 GSF of space. These improvements aim to significantly reduce energy consumption, enhance safety by meeting current standards, and lower maintenance costs by preventing future repairs due to outdated or inefficient equipment. The upgrades will provide a long-term, cost-effective solution for the building's operations.

Interior upgrades to include updated amenities, expansion of fitness room, dedicated space for arts & Crafts, and senior programming. Exterior upgrades to include a new spray park, community garden and pickle Ball court.
